REGULATIONS AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

CMBA Ontario’s Regulatory Affairs Committee works with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and the Ministry of Finance to develop programs to enhance the Mortgage Brokerage Industry in Ontario, through consultation, and assisting to enhance existing rules and regulations. The Committee plays a key role in legislative and regulatory matters by participating in stakeholder meetings with both FSCO and the Ministry of Finance, and communicates Member feedback to both organizations.

In the section below, you will see CMBA advocacy initiatives across Canada. Under Advocacy, we have also included information about our Policies & Procedures manual available for purchase, In The Know Q&As about rules and regulations, as well as Industry News.
