2018 Ontario Continuing Education for Mortgage Agents and Brokers
This is a FSCO Mandatory requirement!
Mortgage Agents must complete five hours of Continuing Education (CE) prior to March 31, 2018. This requirement is unchanged from the previous cycle. NEW! The number of CE hours to be completed by all Mortgage Brokers prior to March 31, 2018 has been increased to seven hours from the previous five hours. The additional two hours must relate to the responsibilities of the Principal Broker.
The course will cover Fraud, Disclosure, Suitability of Mortgages, Advertising and the Role of the Principal broker. You can learn more about the topics covered by clicking here.
Once you have completed the course you will receive your certificate and the Learn and Earn Coupon Booklet from top industry lenders, that give you the opportunity to earn $500, XTRA BPPS and discount appraisals on new deals! CMBA will also notify FSCO that you have completed the course.
This course can be completed at anytime and there is no time limit.
